Customer Care Notice on iOS 7

The version of QwickPAY that is currently in the App Store (1.5.16) supports iOS 7.

If the merchant upgraded to iOS 7 and had QwickPAY previously installed on the iOS device, the merchant should delete the QwickPAY application and do a new install of QwickPAY (1.5.16 or newer). Please note that the iOS device will lose all of the local transaction history, but it will continue to reside in the QwickPAY Virtual Terminal despite being erased on the iOS device.

Merchants can find the QwickPAY for iOS in the app store by clicking the link below.  From there, the merchant can perform a new install.

If the merchant previously used QwickPAY-lite and is having issues with iOS 7, then please use the QwickPAY Virtual Terminal located at https://MyQwickPAY.com to process card not present transactions.  

1. Go to https://myqwickpay.com and log into your QwickPAY virtual terminal account.
2. Select SALE from the menu.
3. Select MANUAL ENTRY from the drop down menu.
4. You will see a CAUTION message warning you that card not present transactions are less secure. Tap or click CONTINUE to make the sale.
5. Manually enter the necessary card data and the amount you wish to charge. You can additionally add the customer’s contact information by clicking on DETAILS. This allows you to keep a record of the customer’s contact information and if an email address is collected, will also allow you to send a copy of the receipt to the customer after the transaction is processed.
6. Click on the SUBMIT button once you are ready to process this transaction.
7. Once charged, you will see the approval or decline message.
8. Click on View Receipt if you wish to view, print or email the receipt.

Also, iOS 7 added additional privacy settings that the merchant will need to enable for QwickPAY. This will be needed to support Location, Contacts and Microphone (microphone is needed for uDynamo), etc.
